Workstation & Screen Assessments

A Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessment is a detailed review of how your workstation is set up and how your body interacts with it throughout the day.

For people who spend long hours using computers, laptops, or other screens, an improperly arranged workstation can lead to issues such as back and neck pain, headaches, eye strain, and repetitive-strain injuries.

During a DSE assessment, a trained assessor examines your chair, desk height, screen position, keyboard and mouse placement, and overall posture and movement habits.

They also consider factors such as lighting, screen glare, and workload patterns.

Following the assessment, you’ll receive tailored recommendations to improve comfort and reduce strain -this might include simple adjustments, ergonomic equipment suggestions, or personalised stretching and movement strategies.

At Physioworks, DSE assessments are an effective way to address and prevent musculoskeletal problems before they become long-term conditions.
